Miranda is a writer and director based out of Montreal. She has worked in film and television for many years as an actor, and began to incorporate filmmaking into her work about 12 years ago.

During her time there, she was the happy recipient of several academic and funding awards. She's written and directed several short films: Sound (2018) a portrait documentary, I? (2019) and Run, Woman (2020) both experimental shorts, and If (2021), an improvised narrative fiction. She has just finished her latest short, Carry, to be released in 2025. A through-line in her work is a desire to reveal the hidden, show the private, and revel in our shared humanity. |
