A Gemini Award nominee and a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Miranda works on screen, in voice, and on stage.
Highlights of her screen work include CTV's Tripping the Wire for which she received a Gemini nomination in 2005, a starring role in IFC series The Festival; and the lead in Sarah Galea-Davis' Can You Wave Bye-Bye, which won "Best Canadian Short" at CFC's Worldwide Short Film Festival. Other film credits include The Flare directed by Francesco Gianni, Upside down by Juan Diego Solanas, and Wicker Park by Paul McGuigan. She has also guest starred in CTV's Flashpoint, Muse's Durham County, ABC's Identity, IFC's Bullet in the Face, and Syfy's Helix. She also works in voice-over, dubbing, and animation. For example, she was pleased to be a part of the English version of the beautiful animated NFB shorts The Great Malaise by Catherine Lepage, and In Deep Waters, by Sarah Van Den Boom. Her theatre credits include Rabbit Hole with the Ad Hoc Theatre Collective, Hippies And Bolsheviks with Girl Got Lost Productions, Women Of Manhattan with Freestanding Productions, and Camera, Woman with Out Productions/Sin 4. She just finished doing two Montreal Fringe Festival shows: 3ease, by Frank Sharp, and her own one-woman show called Fail Again. She plans to remount Fail Again for a full run.
