A Gemini Award nominee and a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Miranda works on screen, in voice, and on stage. Highlights of her screen work include CTV's Tripping the Wire for which she received a Gemini nomination in 2005, a starring role in IFC series The Festival; and the lead in Sarah Galea-Davis' Can You Wave Bye-Bye, which won "Best Canadian Short" at CFC's Worldwide Short Film Festival. Other film credits include The Flare directed by Francesco Gianni, Upside down by Juan Diego Solanas, and Wicker Park by Paul McGuigan. She has also guest starred in CTV's Flashpoint, Muse's Durham County, ABC's Identity, IFC's Bullet in the Face, and Syfy's Helix. She also works in voice-over, dubbing and animation. She was pleased to recently be a part of the English version of the beautiful animated short La mal du Siecle, (The Great Malaise) by Catherine Lepage. Theatre continues to be a part of her creative expression. Her credits include Rabbit Hole with the Ad Hoc Theatre Collective, Hippies And Bolsheviks with Girl Got Lost Productions, Women Of Manhattan with Freestanding Productions, and Camera, Woman with Out Productions/Sin 4. Originally, from Sooke, B.C., Miranda is now based in Montreal. |
